1. Booking Facilitation and Reseller Status The website www.bookatourguide.co.za (hereafter referred to as “the Website”) acts solely as an online marketplace, reseller, and facilitator. We provide a platform for independent tour guides, operators, and activity providers (hereafter referred to as “Service Providers”) to advertise and sell their services.
We do not own, operate, manage, or control any of the tours or activities advertised. Your booking contract is concluded directly with the respective Service Provider.
2. Payment Processing via PayFast To facilitate your booking, the Website collects payments securely via our third-party payment gateway, PayFast.
- We act as a collection agent on behalf of the Service Provider.
- Once the funds are received, they are processed and paid over directly to the respective Service Provider.
3. Cancellation Policies and Refunds Please note that each Service Provider operates under their own independent cancellation, amendment, and refund policies.
- Transfer of Liability: Once your payment has been paid over by us to the Service Provider, the financial and contractual responsibility for your booking lies entirely with that Service Provider.
- Refund Requests: Any requests for cancellations, refunds, changes, or disputes must be negotiated and settled directly with the specific Service Provider in accordance with their terms.
- www.bookatourguide.co.za does not hold your funds indefinitely, cannot override a Service Provider’s cancellation policy, and is not responsible for issuing refunds once the funds have been transferred to the provider. It is your sole responsibility to familiarise yourself with the provider’s specific policy before finaliSing your booking.
4. Limitation of Liability All Service Providers are independent contractors and not employees or agents of www.bookatourguide.co.za. Consequently, we accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or financial loss arising from the acts, omissions, negligence, bankruptcy, or defaults of any Service Provider.
